Kerry joined QinLi Law Firm as senior counsel in October 2019.  Kerry has over 20 years’ experiences in commercial dispute resolution.  She joined Beijing No. 2 Intermediate Court after graduated from Peking University, then worked as senior associate or partner in several prestigious PRC law firms, including Junhe, Hankun and Runming. She also worked for Caterpillar (China) Financial Leasing Co. Ltd. as a legal counsel and handled hundreds of financial leasing related dispute cases.

Kerry has a wealth of experience in resolving complex disputes and her clients included both large multinational and domestic clients. Kerry represented clients in several influential unfair competition litigation cases in China, and in recent years has successfully handled a number of litigation and arbitration cases involving disputes concerning investments, shareholders' rights, bond default and construction contracts. She has also provided multiple legal services for clients on compliance and HR related issues.  Kerry has industry knowledge regarding manufacturing, mining, real estate, financing, architectural designing, high-technology, retailing, pharmaceutical etc., and has been widely recognized by clients for her professionalism and expertise.

Kerry graduated from Peking University Faculty of Law in 1998 with a LL.B degree of Economic Law & International Economic Law. She is a PRC licensed lawyer.

  • Represented a number of creditors in litigations against a state owned enterprise for bond default.
  • Represented a real estate company of a renowned corporate group in several arbitrations for joint development disputes, and represented the same company in a litigation of construction contract dispute.
  • Represented a foreign invested outdoor sports company in CIETAC arbitration on the dispute of agent agreement.
  • Represented a reputable foreign architecture office in a litigation for architecture designing dispute against one of real estate developing companies.
  • Representing two affiliated state owned companies in litigations based on both financial leasing agreement and trade agreement.
  • Representing a state owned company in a litigation against a mining company for the dispute of stock right transfer.
  • Represented a Hong Kong real-estate developing company in a litigation based on a pre-contract dispute.
